Family portraits hanging on your lounge room wall are some of your most precious memories. The days that you get to spend together are the best things about life and capturing some of those moments to look back on forever is something you’ll never regret.
Family sessions here at Sharon Jones Photography are fun! It’s all about capturing you and your important people in the most natural way possible. Real emotions, candid moments, laughter, and love.
It’s up to you where you’d like to hold your family portraits. Sessions outside are very popular and for good reason. They provide a stunning backdrop to your images and there’s something about the great outdoors that helps everyone relax. We can watch your small people interacting with nature and running free in the elements.
I make sure that I capture all of the moments. From traditional smiling at the camera portraits right through to the tiniest of interactions. It’s so important that we take photos of the whole family, different combinations and some individual portraits too. When was the last time you had a professional photo taken of you and your partner? We definitely won’t forget to take them to.
The best time of day to hold a family session is in the golden hour, that periods of time just before sunset from the light is just right. We can shoot any time of year depending on what kind of look you are going for. Winter sessions where you are all rugged up are just as gorgeous as summer sessions in the sunshine.
We can also take family portraits here in my Chirnside Park studio if you like the idea of a more traditional look. I have some gorgeous backdrop and props that we can use and you’ll love the final gallery that we can create for you.
